A BLOG FOR PERSONAL USE:
This blog will be used to communicate with others that have similar interest in fabrics, quilting successes and failures, knitting, smocking, and sewing for grandchildren. I also love children's books and papier mache.
A BLOG FOR LIBRARY USE:
RCPL can use blogs as an extension of the monthly calendar to communicate with patrons that have similar interests. Because of the ability for patrons to make comments, future programs could be planned for the specific needs of the community in which the library is located.
Book discussion groups, especially for children and about children's literature, could become a very useful part of a library blog.
Sharing of ideas among staff could also be utilized, perhaps as a mini-staff education day without baskets.
It seems that the uses are limitless.
